To visually verify the core waterproof and bonding performance of AOFENG GP General Purpose Silicone Sealant, Aofeng Group Laboratory carried out a professional underwater bonding simulation test. Wood boards and bricks were used as substrates for gluing under full water immersion, intuitively demonstrating the product’s strong underwater construction capacity and long-term waterproof sealing performance, offering authentic performance data for overseas customers engaged in kitchen & bathroom, outdoor and water tank projects.

The whole test was conducted in a transparent water tank filled with clean water, fully simulating harsh construction conditions such as damp surfaces, water accumulation and water leakage:

Underwater Gluing Process: Staff used a caulking gun to apply AOFENG GP silicone sealant evenly on the wood substrate under water. The adhesive maintained stable shape without dissolving or scattering in water, and firmly adhered to the board, supporting direct construction on wet or water-covered surfaces.
Curing Under Continuous Water Immersion: After gluing, bricks were pressed onto the sealant layer for full curing. The substrates stayed completely submerged the whole time, without draining or pre-drying the wet base.
Bond Strength Inspection: Once fully cured, staff pulled the brick hard by hand. The bonding joint remained intact with no cracking, peeling or water seepage. The silicone tightly bonded wood and stone, forming a stable waterproof sealing structure.
